sikorsky uh 60 blackhawk

Hello !
This is my last work in progress, is the Sikorsky UH-60 Blackhawk. I finished modeling and textures but if you have a criticism I can change it.
This is the render :

And the wire :

What do you think? And sorry for my english, I hope that is correct. :o
Bye !
Edit : Just a little correction on the side of the helicopter. http://image.noelshack.com/fichiers/2013/32/1376053985-rendu-1.png

Very nice work.

Awesome work.

Thanks for your replies !
Now, I Will search a idea for the composition of my final render.

That’s really good. Better than I what see in the movies!!

nice work!!! you have really poured some love into that

wow i hope i can get as good as you that is amazing.

great work on this one
Can’t wait to see the final comp.
Will be top row for sure

Cheers,
~Tung

It looks really good! Nice texturing.

Yes, excellent work, Syblend! The modelling is superb, and the texturing really pulls it all off.

I’m just curious, what method do you use for your specularity maps? I really admire the effect of dust/dirt you’ve created!

Fantastic!

The thing that stands out to me is the dirt texture on the windshield. I would make it so that it effects the specularity on the windshield somewhat. Also, you can tell that the dirt texture is mirrored. Other that that it looks great. Put it in a good scene and it will be photorealistic.

Terrific model.

Waw thanks all !

@DanielW : I took your opinion into account in
I’ve make a first test of incrustation in a real environment :

Bye !
Ps : When this project will finish I will probably share the file on blendswap.

I can’t seem to get the attachment you just posted to load properly, Blender Artists keeps giving me an error. I would ask you to re-upload it, but if you are planning on submitting your file to Blendswap (which would be incredible!), I could just wait until then.

I can’t wait to see how the environment shot develops!

I had another question, is there a thread or a website that has more information on your Iron Man head avatar? I’m sure I’ve seen it before, but couldn’t find any posts you’ve made that mention it. It’s possible I just saw it in a magazine or something, I can’t recall.

Sorry for the attachment, I’ve reuoplad :

For blendswap, I will upload my file but I want make some modifications before, mainly on the incrustation.
For my iron man it’s probably here :

I will continue tomorrow, I do not have time tonight.
bye

Some nice texturing here, always interesting to see someone else’s node setups. You rely on layer weighting more than I do, and I can see how that’s pushed the colours in the final image. I’m a little confused by the 2 mix nodes at the end, are they just in the wrong order?

Great job

This is great, so cool. The distressed texture is nice and I like the low angle shots, it gives it a larger, more impressive feel.

Wow, great modeling work, but a fantastic texture!
You really just used nodes for the materials and used no real texture? Amazing oO

Hi all ! :stuck_out_tongue:
Thanks for your replies,
MonkMonk>The two mix shader are in the good order. The order is not really important because the result will be similar.
Keka>Thanks
Ravenblood>Thanks you. I’ve used real textures (in green in my screen).
Today, I will make some modifs :
-modeling of inside (seat, structure, cockpit…), This will not necessarily be very detailed, I would like just a basic inside.
-Add driver, for control the rudder and the blades’ gravity.
-add some bones for a simple control of the helicopter.
-I will make a new environment for my helicopter, I’m no satisfied of my work.
I do this in the afternoon and I’ll show you.
Bye

Sorry for my double post.
I’ve made a little video for you present my model.

Enjoy
