For anyone that uses Silo for modeling, can you answer a few questions about how it works with blender.
For some of the features that are in Silo but not Blender, how do they translate into Blender? Things like partial subdivision and N-gons and probably others I haven’t encountered yet. It looks like even the basic subdivision uses a different algorithm, does this make subsurfed models look different?
So do you avoid using those modeling features while keeping in mind that you will export to blender?
Silo seems great for organic modeling, is it also suitable for architectural/robotic modeling?
