hey, im new here to these boards. I was using a tutorial for the blender game engine from v2.25 but i have the new 2.33. Its almost the same, but i dont know how how to make an object into an actor. It says there is an “actor” button in the “logic” window (pacman button), but i dont see it. am i doing something wrong or has it changed?
This question has been asked several even dozens of times…
You can use search button in the up right corner of this forum or I could explain you why it isn’t there…
You have to go to world buttons, there u will see a box that has Mist\Stars\Physics for it’s name… That’s where you will find the physics scrolldown box… The box has a “None” when you start the blender, change it to Sumo…
It’s funny how many new users blender will get every day… Cuz this question gets asked 1 time per 24 hours…
You know, knightfang just asked this question… if you scroll down this forum you can see a topic called “Missing Buttons”… you can check that when you didn’t understand my English
ha! dont you hate it when this happens? lol

It’s like if I’m playing a new game and when I’m stuck somewhere I go to the forums… I don’t want to register and post my question… the first thing that I will do is use the search… So what’s up with people… Elsiun should make the search button bigger… font size maybe 42px Lol
another question
A game engine test is screwing up on me… I have a simple ball that falls down onto a box with an open end on the top. I made it to where I can move the box left, right, forward, and backward. Every other time, it works by falling into the box. All the other times, it falls halfway into the box and when i move it, it falls off, as if theres an invisible plane… and I dont even change anything in between tests!
Go to blender3d.org and download version 2.33a. It has some bugfixes, including the collision problem that you have.
