Thanks onemanblend
See this copper and Brass.3D Model in other software by me and rendered in Blender Internal.

WOW!
That is a great render
Thank you for posting this!
My favorite part of the image is the top centre (rear) candle holder/cup thingie because it just shows such beautiful reflections.
It’s a shame that “Macke” is no longer on these forums … back in 1999 he was not sure adding ray tracing to blender was such a good idea … i forgot why …
Have you considered animating this thing? A model like this just screams to be animated.
What software did you use to model this? My guess is wings3d but i’m a BAD guesser!
Thanks again for posting another beautiful render
Do you have others?
there was a macke!? grr i hope i get my name change soon =[

CHANGE YOUR NAME BOYEE???
Macke was one of the elite users … you should be proud to have a nick name that builds on such an “unforgettable” foundation.
I’m sure there are a few who still remember him … and … his helpful posts ![]()
Check out his flame example here: http://centralsource.com/blender/flames/ You probably need blender 1.8 to run it … that was state of the art … back then …
I just watched all of them! I don’t know which one to pick as my favorite, they are all … well, … amazing!
Having seen your work (as well as what the others who have responded are capable of doing) i respectfully withdraw my offer of consideration for the job because i no longer feel “up to the task”.
I would have never guessed that the competition would be so tough … even on little jobs like this one.
This is just a wild guess but, you wouldn’t happen to have other stills you could post here?
