Ok, so I’ve had blender for a couple weeks now, and have been having alot of fun with the program… the only thing is that I’ve never been able to ‘commit’ to one certain project. So finally, I sat down and decided that for the next few days, whenver I fired up Blender, I’d work on the same simple scene until it was finished (except for the texturing… I don’t know jack about texturing yet- and the whole UV mapping thing is weird [once again, a lack of knowledge])…
When it’s completely finished (I need to add some simple buildings in the back ground) it’s gonna essentially be a ‘Bum Shack’ in the middle of a sidewalk :P. Also- I know that the lighting is off a bit- I’ll fix that later…
Criticism welcome! :D.
Also- if anyone knows of any tutorials on texturing, do tell :D…
Hi, not sure if it is the lighting, but the spanner has black lines on it, this is due to inverted normals and can sorted out in edit mode select all and ctrl+n (reclaculate normals). Also on the bottle laying on the floor the cap looks odd, try again in edit mode, select all and remove doubles you may have to ctrl+n again on that.
As for texturing tutorials try the Blender wikki if you haven’t already.
