What did you use to make the 2D sketch?
A friend did the sketch and posted it to his facebook, it was just black and white. i inverted the colour in gimp.
If you thought that the sketch is a render of the 3d model then I am flattered that it turned out that good.
Looks nice, but I think it should look more angular like the sketch.
