Simple deform modifier

small question, : what happened?
simple deform modifier mirrors and doubles the mesh on Y (and X) axis
the supposed result only happens on the Z axis

Try Apply ➔ Rotation (Control + A) on your object.

You can also add an Empty object and assign that to the Axis Origin field of the Simple Deform modifier, then rotate the Empty until you’ve got the desired result.
