Simple Falling Ball


I’m trying to use an Actuator to make a Ball follow an Empty as the Empty moves along a Path in the Game Engine:

Here’s what should happen:

  • The Ball drops (from gravity).
  • At Frame 99, the Ball starts moving with the Empty.
  • At Frame 100, the Empty follows a Path.
  • At the end of the Path, the Ball drops (from gravity) and lands on the box.The latest I’ve read about Blender is that Paths and the Game Engine don’t mix.

Do I need a Python script to change the Ball’s location as the Empty follows the Path?

I need to do this for 200+ balls (and a random start/end position on each ball). A manual solution won’t cut it.

Any ideas?
