I want to put a very simple hex grid bump map on a diffuse texture to make something look like it’s made of hexagonal plates. I’ve followed some very clear tutorials and gotten the material to work fine in the preview window, but for all the effect it has on the actual item i might as well be spitting at it.
I’ve followed various node tutorials and again, i get the material to work in the preview, no efrfect on thew render. Any useful help here?
PS. NOT in the mood for condescension.
