Simple question on vertex color channel.

I accidentally entered vertex paint mode which added a new vertex color channel. How can I remove that vertex color channel? Pressing the X (next to the channel in the mesh panel) does work for UV etc. but not for vertex color.

There should be an X next to Col for you to press underneath Vertex Color in the Mesh panel. I know this sounds dumb, but make sure you have the object selected.

I have used vertex colors a bit and I have never had problems deleting the col that I added. Are you using an SVN build?

Yes, sorry that I forgot to mention that. I tried another Version today and it worked (as expected).
