I’d like to make a proposition:
I’ve been making attempts at getting my head around python
with absolutely minimal success rates.

This is largely due to the fact that education is sparse and twists the mind in an unreasonable fashion.

So what I’d like to suggest, if I may

is that there be a hub for very simple scripts.

By this I mean that people can share their ideas, provided that they're intended for those of novice like stature.
Thereby individuals can post their solutions with footnotes as to make legible that which is confusing.

This being said here’s a starting thought/idea

_create a script which locks the cursor to 0,0,0 locale.

Even something as simple as this is giving me tremendous problems. It’s like a brain freeze. I don’t know where to start. But this is what I’ve amounted to thus far.

In conclusion
It seems to me that a theoretical approach is lacking. The community is geared much more toward the practical side of things.
By this I mean that answers from members are readily available but those rooted in understanding are seldom seen.

Thank you for your time.

There’s a whole (two really) sub-forum for this.

Also ‘python’ and ‘simple’ were never intended to appear in the same sentence…

…well, until python is simple to you that is.
