Simply cloth animation problem

Hello everybody! I’m using simply cloth 2.0 in Blender 3.5.0 and I have some issues. When I import a model, play animation and then apply the cloth to a static mesh, I can’t go back to the original version of the cloth. Is this normal or did I miss something?

That’s normal. Applying a modifier writes it to the mesh-- the original data no longer exists anywhere.

You might consider applying as a shapekey, from the modifier’s dropdown menu. Or, you might consider baking the cloth physics, which will stop computing the physics in the future, while preserving their baked behavior.

Thanks for your message, I will try it! For the solution, I just opened the file source from the asset and copy / paste the asset I needed so everything is good now.
