Simulating a simple tshirt on a hanger

Im trying to make this 3d tshirt, using blender 2.63
Ive seen a sort of tutorial but it’s for 3dmax, know i know it’s easy to do in blender.
Im still a beginner with blender but i do know a couple things and how they work.

Im trying to use the cloth modifier and a collision modifier on the hanger.
Ive watched tons of tuts now for the cloth modifier, but still i think they all look the same no matter what preset i use.
I want a sort of simple cotton shirt, but the preset looks not the way i like.
When using the simulator, it looks like a sort of rubber everytime.
The meshes bounces around always and than starts to shape, is there a solution for this?
I did set the cloth modifier above the subsurf cause the other way around takes way to much time to bake.

I cant seem to understand why the mesh bounces all the time.

Hope to hear some CC on this.

Thanks Rombout

First, convert it to a mesh, that should take care of the shaking and odd movement. Second, you may not want to use the solidify modifier, as Blender’s cloth sim doesn’t seem to handle cloth on cloth sims very well.

Okay thanks for the tip! Testing To learn blender so All tips are very welcome

Hi TheGardian,

tried your tip applying the subsurf. THe simulation takes for ever now is this correct? is this the same as when you have the cloth above the subsurf, causing the simulation to calculate much more geometry
