I want to simulate rain and use a particle system to do so. I have heard something about parenting a mesh to the emitter and then when animated the particles come out as the meshes?! or something like that? I tried figuring it out on my own but couldn’t so i figured i’d post it here! I just want to make a emitter that a model of a rain drop comes off of. I will work on the scene more but i just want to know how to do it first! Any help would be appreciated!
Parent your raindrop to the emitter mesh and turn on Dupliverts (and see the manual).
don’t i feel stupid! I almost had it just didnt’ have dupliverts selected! Thanks guys!
