Nice… Since you seem to have pretty uniform lighting coming from all directions, you might consider using a skydome + radiosity for this scene. I’m not sure if you’re doing that already but it usually boosts realism amazing amounts for static scenes like this. Especially the nest itself (which looks real nice, btw.) with lots of complex geometry would probably look much better.
