Single Mesh Muiltiple UV Maps Layout rendering?


I made a ship with a single mesh. The problem I am having I created two UV map layouts and assigned each a texture image. From what I could tell its setup correctly but when I render it only shows one texture image for both the UV map layout areas. I’m a little confused because each texture should show for the specific face when rendered

Did anyone run into the same problem before? It would be nice to get some help on this.

try having different materials, and using the assign button on the materials tab. I can go into more detail if you want.


I’ll try that. The only problem I use about 20 seams for the object. I want to avoid have 20 different materials, if I change the color of one I have to change 19 others. Thanks
