Well, I went to six form and it was shit; I only wish I had went to a proper college now, cause quite frankly most secondary school teachers arnt qualified to do ‘higher education’ ( I hardly call reading from a text book “higher education”).
I’m only happy that i never had to ‘pay’ for this ‘education’. Cause apparantly, my six form thinks you can do proper print publishing with microsoft publisher and crtl+p /WYSIWYG is all it takes. oh and cymk is just a bunch of colours used in commercial printing :rolleyes: ohhh and they didnt know what photoshop was,and declined to having it installed on thier computers cause they had XYZ app already (a very very shit raster /photoshop alternative).
Also, six forms in secondary schools dont help in increasing ones maturity, those bond you talk about is aload of crap cause all it means is the students know how to walk all over the teachers. of course, not the case for every student.

I’d be inclined to agree. I was fortunate enough to have the odd teacher who was good enough to teach that level - one was even a PhD - but I found on more than one occasion I was the only student in class and the level of teaching was not so much low but non-existant i.e I would be told to read the books myself.
I found it useful when starting University because 1st year was pretty straight forward but in hindsight, I’d rather have gone to university a year earlier. I probably wouldn’t have gone to university in hindsight but whatever. Sixth form needs to go.
