Hi,
I have a circle inside a cube. See attachment.
Now I want to size the diameter of the circle to exact 2mm.
How can I do that? In edit mode I cannot see the size of selected submesh.
Thanks!

select two vertices on opposite sides of the circle, and press ‘f’ to make an edge between them. Then turn on ‘Edge Lengths’. Then just scale to the wanted diameter
Hi Morio,
thanks for reply, but also here this is just a workaround, I wonder that there is no direct measurement of size in editmode (N-panel) like in objectmode.
I also cannot enter 2.0 mm directly to scale exactly.
With your proposal I have to scale and watch the edge size until it fits exactly - not very efficient.
But your idea is at least something, thanks!
>Not very efficient.
Well, Blender is not optimized for geometry work like CAD program. You can create accurate model but you will need to make it happen using tools it have.
