Skeleton Problems

I have been working on the skeletong for my model for a total of 9 hours nowand I have followed th instructions in the Youtuve video to the letter. When I do the parenting as the video instructed, the model should have weights, but ti doesn’t. I try to add weights, but it always deforms the object too much.

Only if you parent it with automatic weights. This does a good job normally, but depending on the shape of your mesh you will have to adjust the weight painting by hand. To get better qualified help you should show your problem at least through screenshots, but even better by posting your .blend file. is a good place for that.
