When i import SketchUp models into Blender they have doubles, when i remove them the models turns out like this: http://piclair.com/data/ojuro.jpg
is there some way to prevent that, because i need them to be quite low poly.
Thanks

Did you reduce “Limit” to zero?

Hi,
When you did remove doubles, did you also after that try recalculating Normals, by selecting all the mesh in Edit Mode and pressing CTRL+N?
mib2berlin: i just press “w” then remove doubles. setting it to 0 would probably not remove any doubles?
and yes i recalculated the normals. i tried it before doing it, and after as well. @mib2berlin
Could you upload a testfile, i´ll have a look to it.
Zero mean removes doubles on exactly the same place.
