I’m having trouble modeling characters (and, in this case, a hand). The topology is rather messy, and I’m not quite sure how to fix it. I know that topology is a difficult subject, but any help is appreciated! Thank you!
The Skin modifier can be a gigantic pain to work with when you want some kind of precision, moving a vertex a single pixel can lead into completely different visual result.
Anyways, to fix your hand, first select those vertices :
Press X -> Dissolve Vertices, so you obtain :
Now select that vertex :
And in the modifier click on the button “Mark Loose”
