Skullface Jack

(rawrlungs) #1

Hey guys, here is a character I worked on in my spare time as a fun side project to practice hand painting. His name is Skullface Jack, based on a concept I made. C&C very welcome!!! There are higher res images on my artstation, as well as a sketchfab viewer, thanks  Modelled and textured inside Blender!!

Love it.
I took the liberty to tag it with #characters and #hand-painted

"A sentinent, living bomb." Oh, I absolutely love this guy. He blows my head off … uhh …

He’s not only very well-modeled, but he’s exploding with personality and charm, and, absurdity.

That’s a pretty good art work! Kind of reminds me of the Rayman game series I used to play in PS1

Besides of everything else that’s a really nice looking textured lowpoly flame.

nice work man,
what are the size of the textures if i may ask, this ahs to be at least 2k

(rawrlungs) #11

thanks! for the size of the textures, I used a 2k for his body/equipment, 1k for his weapon, and a 2048 x 1024 for his head! there are a few smaller ones for his flame!

(alf0) #12

damn thats crazy, and you did all in blender, thats super crazy

(rawrlungs) #13

haha, Blender is awesome, it has great tools for handpainting too! I went crazier than normal for this guy regarding poly count and texture sizes, since he was a personal project

(alf0) #14

yeah i can see that
