I’ve released the Sky system for free!!

Amazing. I was just trying that out in the blend you shared earlier. I see that since it’s made with geometry nodes, the atmosphere is more of a thin layer; there’s no atmospheric dispersion in the scene itself. How would I go about adding it without it ending up as a double dispersion for the sky?

The system creates a real-world sized Earth atmosphere with volumetrics, you just set the background (environment) to black, everything else is taken care of by the system.

Nice renders!
Give a look at the guide in the documentation 😉, you’ll need to change some parameters to get the sky working the way it is meant to work.

Recently I developed it further. Fixed some things here and there, tidied it up a bit more…

 ![screenshot 1](https://blenderartists.org/uploads/default/original/4X/b/7/8/b78d3130523c8e317dae89bbe56c73323bf9e419.webp)

Furthermore I added proper naming and comments to the nodes, so that it’s easier to understand how the volumetric Earth is composed.

For the Sun, I decided to use a 5900 K blackbody node, because according to [Wikipedia](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Color_temperature#The_Sun) the Sun above the atmosphere has such temperature color.
