Slimy Suzanne

Hi! I haven’t been able to do much playing with Blender lately since we started on our animation projects. Anyhow, yesterday, I got some loose time and thought it might be a good idea to chill in Blender. Here’s a material test I’ve made. Used a combination of Subsurface Scattering, color ramps, and of course the ever powerful material nodes (plus composite nodes). All hail Suzanne! :slight_smile:

Looks pretty slimy. Nice colours as well.
I actually really like the background in the animation. How did you do that?

I used a bunch of particle halos then the bokeh effect was achieved by decreasing the “Hard” value of the Halo Shaders to very low so they’d appear as discs only without any feathering.
