I’m using Windows XP, SP 2 on a 3 Ghz PC. The animation I made with a helicopter with two axes for the rotors rotating and the helicopter following a path was jerky. Essentially, the helicopter would follow the path but there seemed to be occasions when it skipped or didn’t follow the path smoothly. The file size was greater than 10 MB. I viewed the animation in Windows Media Player Version 10. What is your advice for making this play smoothly?
how long was the animation?
was it avi raw?
Tried two animations. Viewed both in Windows Media Player Version 10. Both were a bit jerky.
First one when I built it - 6 second animation, 480 x360 on the window, 7.58 MB. I had used the Microsoft Video 1 compressor and AVI Codec. So, no on the AVI raw.
Second animation was a different file with helicopter speed changing using Speed Ipo when I built it. I made it a 10 second animation, 640 x 480 on window, Size was 44.5 MB. Used Microsoft Video 1 compressor and AVI Codec. No on AVI raw again.
If need other data regarding building the animation, let me know.
