Slow Parenting question

Is there anyway to make a ‘bobbing’ effect between 2 objects? Say a large cube, and a small cube. The smaller cube will follow the larger cubes motion with a slight delay. I’ve had interesting results with slow parenting but the object never comes back to rest in relation to the larger cube.

It’s never really reset back into proper position. Is there a way around this?
