Smoke direction issue

Hi,

I’m trying to create a steam spray effect similar to this:

image

The spray would last for 2 secs and then stop, with the steam naturally disappearing. My belief is that a natural effect would require the steam to move away from the source and gradually disappear.

I’ve tried many different approaches, including an explanation here (for creating steam): https://blender.stackexchange.com/questions/63782/how-to-achieve-vapor-or-steam-effect-with-smoke-sim

and an explanation for moving the smoke away from the source here: https://blender.stackexchange.com/questions/98423/how-do-i-make-smoke-dissipate-after-its-stopped

Despite this, I’m having no luck with my own model.

I’ve uploaded the .blend file. I’m using the latest version of Blender with the Principled Volume Shader. If anyone has time to cast a glance and let me know where I’m going wrong it would be much appreciated. Thank you
