Smoke not following particles

I have this:

Animation2

There is a particle system
then I created a domain, set it to smoke, and connected it to the particle system.
But it doesn’t follow the whole simulation, only starts in the position, but then goes on its own.

Is there a way to make it follow the whole simulation and also not dissipating so quick ?
thank you

Try zeroing out all velocity and temperature info. You’ll still have smoke flying away, however, unless you create a collision tube along the curve to contain the smoke.

Hi, these settings, velocity and temperature, on the domain or the particle flow ?
Cause I tried and had no effect whatsoever

Oh, I didn’t notice the actual blend file… sorry !

You’ll have to set it up in the smoke domain. But it will not make the smoke follow the curve, it will only avoid the smoke to sink or raise. The particles only emit the smoke and in the moment it’s there, it’s not related to the particles anymore. As far as I know you can’t control smoke with a curve in blender.

Hi there, so is there a way to make the smoke goes as the particles then ?

Maybe this could work:

But I never tryed that myself…
