Smoke Scattering? (lighting)

Is it possible to get this kind of light scattering around/through the smoke effect in BI (animation)? (i’m not talking about using spotlight halo,i’m talking about the light scattering around inside a smoke volume material)

Nope, you would have to wait until Cycles can do it, or you could use LuxRender path tracing, that supports Blender SMoke sim with the scattering your looking for :slight_smile:

guess i’ll be waiting till august for cycles volumes.luxrender isn’t animation friendly hehe.
