Smooth edges of a cylinder

Hi all,

I am currently working on rendering a PCB, and I’ve encountered an issue with one of the capacitors not being perfectly cylindrical, as you can see the visible faces.

I am trying to figure out the easiest way to smooth the edges. In edit mode, I attempted to select the edges and apply a modifier such as “bevel” or “smooth,” but unfortunately, it did not yield any desired results.

I would appreciate any suggestions or tips from all of you. Thank you!

Right Mouse Button → Shade Auto Smooth
( ObjectMode while having the Object selected)

If thats not enough tell us, might have custom split normals if its imported.

Did you try Alt-J (Tris to Quads) ?
