Any modelling experts? I have a mesh that even with Object smoothing On and Normals Auto UV Off has sharp corners (circled green in attached). Is there anything I can do other than remodeling from scratch (was a purchased asset)
Can you add a subdivision modifier to smooth it out?
It looks like the mesh only has the three points to give shape to the corner. You could use a sub division modifier but that will add extra faces all over the model and could result in a very heavy mesh.
Or you could select the edges that loop around the corners and use the bevel tool, ctrl b, to split and round them out.
