I’ve been working on a model of a tank and under the turret there’s a cylender thing connecting the turret to the rest of the body. I used a Cylender with 32 verticies but you can still see the individual faces so it doesn’t look vey smooth. I’ve tried various tools to try to smoothe these edges out but whatever i do it affects the entire model. Anybody know what i can do?
You can go to editmode, select the apropriate faces (not edges) and hit ‘set smooth’ from the F9 panel.
You can also put on ‘autosmooth’ and then hit ‘set smooth’ from the F9 panel. Playing with the ‘degr’ slider gives different results, although not in object or editmodes, only while rendering.
