Smoothing visible edges

Hi , I’ve created some simple piece. Extruded some square,mirrored it. Changed shape by proportial editing and then edges appeared.I’ve set the edges for smooth, tried smooth modifier but didn’t help. How to get rid off it? Thanks in advance.




If you want those edges to appear smooth - you need to bevel them and turn on smooth shading.

show the wire, maybe its bad topology. even when set to smooth, edges close together will create creases.

Wireframe i think is ok. I tried to remove or merge those edges what I marked but when I use subdivision shape of squares is deformed.

that shape is not good for the subdivider, its better to have single edges and bevel modifier based on bevel weight. also, you need to smooth the object in object mode, not just the smooth edges in edit mode.

I did smooth in object and edit mode. Those edge loops I’ve made for handle shape of extruded squares in Subdivision. Bevel unfortunately didn’t help. My goal was to bake from high poly to low poly mesh in Substance Painter but without those visible edges.
