Hi,
I´m currently trying out 2.80 and there is a function called “snap invert” when you activate snap.
What does it do?
I would try it but I am not sure which button I need to press on German QWERTZ keyboard.
The ^ button on the QWERTZ layout is the one directly under ESC and left of number 1.
Does anybody know what this feature does and how to activate?
Just stumbled across this mysterious function myself.
The icon is quite misleading. The ^ symbol means the Ctrl key actually, so Snap Invert is just temporarily turning snapping on or off, depending on the state of the Snap option.
The look of all the icons for the modifier keys (Ctrl, Alt, Shift, Super) is currently derived from the mac keyboard symbols, even on linux and windows. It is planned to fix this.
