Snap Origin to Vertex?

Is there an easy way to do this? I can Snap Cursor to Selected, then Transform Origin to Cursor but it seems there might be an easier/faster way to do this?

Also wondering if Blender used to have a “floor” command? Long ago I downloaded and started to learn a 3D program (I think it was Blender 1.8) and it included a “floor” hot-key… this would basically run any objects lowest vertex to the “floor” (0x) by hitting the F key… I don’t think this is around anymore, and might not have ever been Blender but was just curious

Moved from “General Forums > Blender and CG Discussions” to “Support > Basics & Interface”

This is the only way. But You can change how the origin interacts with the object by adjusting the pivot point from the toolbar below or by presing “,” or “.” .

You’re correct… At least there is a way!
