Snapping Textures to Vertices in 2.5

Hello! I’m currently working on a laptop concept, and I need to apply a texture to the keyboard area… The only problem is, I can’t seem to figure out how to get the texture onto the model. I’ve tried nearly everything…

Anyway, what I want to know is, is there a way to snap the texture to the selected vertices, having it resize and whatnot automatically, or can anyone help me with this? Thanks.
