Snooker Room

Hi all.

I’m looking to use Blender to visualise architectural models. I’ve started with a snooker room as the dimensions are pretty defined for almost all items in it. Surprise, surprise, I’m having some issues with lighting. Some renders:

Current light setup is:

  • 6 spots in the ceiling in 2 lines of 3 as if they were in ceiling cans, with a radius(?) of 180 degrees
  • 4 spots on the snooker table, inside the shades
  • an area light lighting only the ceiling.

I’m still not happy with the lighting at all. I think I’ll try for a more daylight look, and try messing around with a sun and ambient occlusion…
