Snooker is a funny word. I have never played Snooker but I have played pool… Are they very similar? Is this the same as a pool table?

Different kind of Pool from England. The Table is bigger and balls are smaller, also its very tactical and enjoyable to watch. I would highly recommend either playing or watching.
