Snow before the blood

Well, I’ve finally decided to mess with armatures. Since it would be foolish to start with complex models, I’ve been using 3d versions of some characters from an old stick comic I made.

This picture shows 2 guys (Turkey and Azut), minutes before beating the crap out of this guy. Why are they in the snow? Don’t ask me, since this is only testing some poses and stuff…

PS- Any ideas on how to fix the jaggy on Azut’s back? Subsurf messes everything up, so I can’t use that.

I am not sure I see the jaggies you are talking about, but if it’s a problem with the mesh, you might try selecting those vertices in edit mode, and hitting ‘smooth’ over on the right side in the edit buttons a couple of times. If it is a lamp problem, turn up the sample level on the lamp. If it is a render problem, set the OSA to 16 or more.

I’m sorry but it looks like a rip-off of stickdeath.com :frowning:

he said he used stick figures to learn armatures.

anyways, the jaggies will not show once it’s on the move, I think… so… when are we going to see anims?

Once I finish reading tutorials on them. Maybe by Sunday or something…
