So much help needed.. :D

Hi, i don’t know if this is the correct subforum for my question but here i go… :stuck_out_tongue:

I downloaded Blender latest version cause i was told it might be what i need for a little project i’m making.

I have to make a simple but realistic driving car “game” which will include
a simple track
a car (obviously :P) but in first person view (a cockpit would be great too in order to add in realism)
and finaly a pedestrian who will cross the road at a specific time when the car approaches.
The goal is to take some measurments which will regard how fast the user hits the break (the “game” will be played with a racing wheel) and if he hits the pedestrian. It’s a part of a bigger project and since the goal is the measurments i am free to find and modify an existing project or make something from scratch…

Since i don’t have much time and i don’t have a lot of experience in this kind of staff i figured maybe someone more experienced here could recommend me some tutortials or projects to get me started… I’ve been watching tutorials on youtube but i have some problems following the steps due to different blender versions… Any help, guidelines, tips, videotutorials, projects recommended to get me started, would be of great help.

Thanks a lot in advance

Hi MythosTBK,

This type of game is possible but I wouldn’t say it was easy or quick to produce.

I would start with the game kit:

Or the open game project:

You can learn loads from them.
