Full disclosure total noob here . So after hours of what I thought was me perfecting a smoke and fire sim from realistic coloring of the flames and smoke to the direction of the smoke flow (non particle system) compositing and finally rendering, I put it all together in the vse to find that while the smoke moves very realistically the fire is going way to fast. The film looks like its on fast forward. Here’s my set up. I broke my animation down into three 75 frame portions because I’m making a youtube intro. The emitter for the flame is text with all the backside vertices selected for advanced flame control. My goal is a 9-10 sec animation. Is there a domain setting I missed that controls the rate at which the fire moves? Everything was shot at 24fps and looks great except the actual fire. Is there an easy fix or do I have to free my bakes and do it all over? And if doing it all over is my only option what setting do I change? Thanks guys. Signed one super disappointed blender noob.
