DOF : A small variation on Caronte’s technique.
Nice ball, great looking grass.
The ball texture seems a bit “pinched” towards the middle on the centered hexagon and the one left of it. Don’t know much 'bout footballs though, maybe it should be like that.
I see three crowns in the insignia, is this some royal swedish ball or something ?

no, it’s a Belgian ball, from Germinal Beerschot (you’ll probably not know this team, unless you’re a real football freak).

I thought it would add a little to the ‘realism’ of the model, but I might be wrong.

How do you make that grass? I haven’t find ant tut about it!
cool! would iut be possible to soften them soccer hexagon plate things? they look too hard around the edges, like solid plates, i think it would look awesome with softer beveled edges =) its a very awesome scene, i love the grass, it looked too cross hatched at first glance, but ive grown to like it

heh, very strange this pic is here again. It was one of my first posts on this forum, and was for months down at the list
I made the grass with ripstings grassscript. I first made a 5*5 grid with lots of grass, changed the drawmode to bounding-box, and duplicated it around 25 times.
Imgranpaboy : I’ll try to find the file on my HD, and when I have some spare time, I might work a little more on it.
well where can a find that plugin then?
