[soft bodies] Collision with an armature-deformed object?

Hi all,

I am currently working on a wrestling ring.
I have 3 ropes made out of a bezier curve each, with a bevel object. I’ve made the ropes soft bodies. I also have a character deformed by an armature and I’m trying to make it collide with the ropes…
The weird thing is that the character with the armature doesn’t collide, but when I use a copy of it without the armature, the collision works!
Did I miss something? Is there a way to make the complete character (with the armature) collide with the ropes?

PS: I’m currently using 2.46-RC1 but I’m going to check if there’s an update, just in case…

Edit #2: D’oh!
I haven’t worked on that project for some time otherwise I’d have seen 2.46 was out lol! But this doesn’t seem to solve the problem.

Looks like I’ve found the solution…
So far I was only moving the armature in pose mode - which in turn was moving the character itself but the collision didn’t work;
Now I move both the armature and the character in object mode and the collision does work.
Problem solved.
