I’m trying to build a scene which includes a soft-body landing on a moving object and being carried by it.
The soft-body is currently just a cuboid with a few sub-divides. It is set so that it is quite rigid but still deforms slightly on impact. The collision object is simply a cube with collision enabled.
I’ve played about with all the settings and I can’t seem to get the results I’m looking for.
The soft-body seems to collide with the cube properly, however as the cube starts moving the object just slides off.
There is some very slight movement of the soft-body in the direction of the cube motion, which to me shows that there is some interaction, but I’m looking for an interaction where the level of friction between the two objects is quite high, and the soft-body is carried by the cube.
Here are my soft-body settings and my collision settings:
I’ve also attached my .blend file, hopefully with the simulation baked.
