So I am making a car chase animation and in that i want to have a scene of a car crash for that I used soft body and surface deform modifiers (seeing a tutorial on youtube) but now when i try to apply the surface deform modifier my car would stay in that mesh shape only. If i apply it after the crash then car would be in deformed shape and if i apply it before crash then the car would be intact even on a crash so help me in figuring out on how to apply the modifiers so the car can perfectly deform on crash

You’d be better off in a software like Houdini for car crash simulations
