Hi, i’m trying to follow the joan of arc tutorial on modeling a person.
but i’m runing into problems when they make edge cuts that simply don’t make sense, for example.
I don’t get how they are turning what should be at least a 7 poly face, into one face. Does blender have an option for that. They call it wield targed, my friend calls it a soft delete. But apparently a lot of modeling suites have a feature that lets you delete a vertex without deleting the edge, and delete an edge without deleting the face. etc.
Does blender have a feature like this, the extra tris are creating lots of pinches in the subdividing.
