I have been using blender a while now but need some help with the soft bodies thing. I have modeled a tire and I am going to animate the tire going flat while its still rolling. What should my settings be for the tire to give make it fairly stiff but able to be react to deflections easily? Or if there is a site to explain each setting half way in detail, that would help. Thanks
You’ll drive yourself mad trying to do that with SoftBodies. Rather use a Lattice that only covers the flattening area then assign RVK’s to the lattice.
