So I have a rigidbody/collision object that collides with some softbody objects.
I’ve been working on this for a while and it has been working so far…
The problem I suddenly have is that the softbody physics don’t show/work in the rendered animation anymore.
I cannot wrap my head around this, feels like a bug. When I play back the animation in the viewport it works perfectly! Any ideas what it could be?
I have baked them previously, but not at this point since I keep changing the animation.
The softbody objects also have a simple rig as physics alone don’t get me where I need to be.
I’ll try baking it but I’m still wondering why it won’t work as I have been able to render previously without baking.
After baking all softbodies again it works, thank you!
I’m still relatively new to experimenting with physics. Is the workflow always to bake it? A must?
I am playing the full animation from frame 1 to 275 in the viewport, if understand correctly it should be cached then and also being rendered correctly without baking. At least this was the case previously for me.
