How did you do it?
I made the hand first, then made it into a quick smoke emitter, killed the volumetrics and used a point density instead on the domain, then set the size of the radius to overlap each vert, and make sure you have enough verts to define the surface, resized the domain to be scaled to 1,1,1 then edit it, expand the volume to be larger then the object, make sure you set the point density value to effect density, or nothing will show, then grab the top 4 verts, do alt H and do make hook to new empty,then go to zero on time, set a key with the hook all the way below the object, then go to end of filling scene, like frame 250 or whatever, then move the domain hook to over the top of the object, set a key, the other Glow is a halo effect from alpha key animation and scale animation of each halo point. also I have the density and the radiusof the smoke rise as it fills so it solidifies,
Important: Move domain so center of domain is same as object, then go to physics, set the density on the domain and heat modifiers to zero so the smoke does not rise also set dissolve to 1 frame so it re-generates the smoke each frame(unless you want to go for a motion blur effect or leave behind particles on a second point density that glow etc), go to object that is the point density verts and set the temp differnial to zero, again so the smoke stays still,
