"solid wireframe" script for the new beta?

I use the solid wireframe script a lot in 2.49.

I was wondering if anyone knows if there is a version of it (or something that would do the same thing) for the new 2.53 beta.

It makes a solid copy of a mesh from the wireframe.

I don’t think there is one yet. The blender python api has seemed to have been in some flux so you may have to wait for the final version of 2.5 to be released and everything to have settled down.
